PLANNING

At OpusPocus, we get involved right at the planning stage, and using 3D computer software, we create a 3D

map of the stage or venue.

We can then communicate with the organizers,

individual contractors, artists and local council officials

to identify any potential problems,

and solve them months before the stage has even started  to be constructed.

Sunrise Celebration 2012

Sunrise Celebration Festival had a lot of different contractors, doing various parts of the Sunrise Solar Dance Area, and the 3D plans were really helpful to avoid everyone tripping over each other, and working out the infrastructure required for the whole area.

Notting Hill Carnival 2010

Trying to get this many speakers installed on a moving float, in just 2 hrs at 5.00 AM for the Notting Hill Carnival required some serious planning!

With this plan the crew all knew exactly what to do, and the whole system was set up, secured & ready to roll on time, and in the right position in the Carnival procession.

Bearded Theory Festival 2012

The Bearded Theory plans really helped in working out the space on stage, and making sure there was enough height for the lighting rigs, and stage space left for the bands.

Glade Festival

Glade Festival needed to know how much space was required for the Inspiral Chill area, in order to work out where they could put it on the site.

Our 3D plans can be superimposed on to satalite images, and existing site maps, for totally accurate planning.
